Dear Central Family, Where has the time gone? This Sunday we will finish the month of June and continue our series Forgotten Virtues. This weekend, Pastor Gilmer will be teaching at the Saturday night service and at the Classic and Unplugged Services on Sunday. I will be teaching in the 9:30 and 11:00 Modern Services. I hope you will be with us. I also want to remind you that as you prepare to be away during this summer to consider signing up for our easy online giving. Just go to the church website www.worshipatcentral.org, click on Login on the top menu, then click on continue to Fellowship One in the popup window. You can sign in if you already have an account or click on Sign up to create an account. After you’ve signed in, click on Giving on the top menu, which will then give you the options of Give Now or Schedule Giving. This is a great opportunity for you to continue your faithful stewardship even when at the beach, the mountains, or some other get away. I love the convenience of giving in this format, and I encourage you to consider enrolling. REMINDERS FOR THIS SUNDAY: ~This Sunday, June 30 is the Annual Business Meeting and All Church Lunch! What’s for lunch, you ask? We’re having pulled pork sliders, French fries, coleslaw, and dessert prepared by Les Enterline and his team. Suggested donation for lunch is $3 a person and children 8 and under eat free. You can still RSVP for lunch, but we are no longer taking childcare reservations. Please note we can only provide childcare to those who have made previous reservations. To respond just for the lunch, please click on the link below. ~We will be electing new officers at this Sunday’s Business Meeting. The link below has the list of the nominees along with their pictures and brief bios. http://worshipatcentral.org/docs/centralnominations063013.pdf ~We will be voting in new members at the end of this Sunday’s 9:30 Modern Service. ~We had previously announced that there will be a Baptism at this Sunday’s Modern Services. The Baptism has been postponed and a new date will be announced for the fall. KIDS CAMP is coming up on July 22 to 26! This is a huge outreach for our church and I hope that you can be part of it. The following are announcements and needs: ~Registration for Kids Camp is open! If you would like to register your children, you can go to the link below or stop by the Kids Camp table this Sunday in the Fellowship Mall. ~We’re still looking for Kids Camp volunteers! If you can serve, please e-mail Laurie Brett at lbrett@gtbhc.org or stop by the Kids Camp table. ~This year’s Kids Camp theme is Kingdom Rock, which is a medieval theme. Do you have any costumes, fabric, or medieval items that we can borrow? Please e-mail Stephanie Earle at searle@cbcnj.org. ~We’re looking for some Kids Camp food donations for snacks during the week and also for lollipops to hand out during the Fourth of July Parade. Please sign up at the Kids Camp table this Sunday. ~Anyone have a trailer we can borrow for the Ewing Fourth of July parade? Central participates in the parade every year and it’s a great opportunity for us to advertise Kids Camp. If you have a trailer you can lend (we have a pickup), please e-mail Heather Redmond at cookingheather@yahoo.com. FAMILY MATTERS: ~Please be in prayer for the family of Roland Thompson, whose body will be laid to rest in Jamaica this Saturday. Please pray for his family as they grieve that the Spirit of God will be their comfort. ~Please rejoice with the two new additions to our staff family! ~~Teaching Pastor Jared Alcántara and his wife Jen welcomed Evelyn Alicia Alcántara on Sunday, June 16 (Father’s Day!). Evelyn was born at 9:06 am, measuring 7 lbs, 9 oz, and 21 inches. ~~Pastor of Student Ministries Bryan Bunagan and his wife Michelle welcomed Brody David Feliciano Bunagan yesterday (Thursday), June 27 at 12:10 pm.
