Dear Central, This is going to be an exciting weekend as we continue our series Forgotten Virtues. We continue to study what Jesus had to say in Matthew 5 to all of us today. I will be teaching on Saturday night at 6:00 and on Sunday morning in the Classic at 9:30 and Unplugged at 11:00. Anthony Gilmer, our Pastor of Spiritual Development, will be teaching at both the 9:30 and 11:00 Modern Services. I hope you will plan to be present at one of our five services. I also want to encourage you with the arrival of summer that this is a great time to check out one of different worship venues. Our Saturday night service continues to grow in appeal as people have busy Sunday schedules. The laid back atmosphere in the Fellowship Mall provides a great setting for powerful worship and challenge from the Word of God, which is a perfect way to end a busy Saturday. In addition, our new Sunday Unplugged service continues to meet the needs of many people who are just looking for a relaxed, coffee shop atmosphere on Sunday morning at 11:00 in our newly-remodeled Central Hall. From the time you walk in the door and grab some delightful refreshments and then take your seat, you will just feel the stress lift off you as you enjoy the fellowship of others who want to glorify Jesus. So come and check it out, as it will be something I am sure you will benefit from. Several exciting things are coming up! ~Registration for Kids Camp is open! If you would like to register your children, you can go to the link below or stop by the Kids Camp table this Sunday in the Fellowship Mall. If you can serve, please e-mail Laurie Brett at lbrett@gtbhc.org or stop by the Kids Camp table. ~Men’s Breakfast tomorrow (Saturday), June 22 at 8 am! Dr. Charles Flores gives you great insights on how to take care of your body, soul, and spirit. Dr. Flores is a local physician (he and his wife attend Central) with a passion for helping men take better care of their health. ~We will be having a baptism on Sunday, June 30 at the Modern Services! If you are interested in getting baptized, please e-mail Pastor Anthony Gilmer at agilmer@cbcnj.org. ~Please RSVP to the Annual Business Meeting and All Church Lunch that will be held on Sunday, June 30 at 12:15 pm. The agenda includes: a ministry review, election of officers, and the presentation of the 2013-14 budget. Suggested donation for lunch is $3 a person and children 8 and under eat free. Childcare is available from birth to 5th grade *with prior reservation* (please indicate names and ages of your children in your response).
