Dear Central,
At the business meeting, we also celebrated the graduation of Central’s first Men’s Leadership Training Course! This group of men completed a one-year training and mentoring under the direction of Pastor Anthony Gilmer. I am very excited as this is an example of how we are seeking to multiply disciples who multiply disciples. Look at this picture and pray for each of these guys in days ahead as they now seek to step into ministry positions where they can develop their gifts of leadership. This weekend, we will continue our series I Know He Is But What Am I? Tucker Brown, our Elder Board chair and graduate of Biblical Seminary will be teaching in the 9:30 Classic Service. Jeremy Bell, our Pastor of Worship and Mission, will be teaching in our three Modern Services on Saturday night at 6 pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00. They will each be focusing on what it means that God is a God who meets people where they are and how that is a calling for us as individuals and as a church. God has been working in this series in great ways and I know you will be blessed at any of these worship services. There is still time to register for the Women’s Retreat on March 15-17! Guest speaker is Anita Keagy of JoyShop Ministries and the retreat theme is Seeking God First. To view the retreat brochure, go to this link. New worship service in Adult 1-3 (now called Central Hall) starting on Easter! The Unplugged service will be at 11:00 am in and will feature the same message as given in the other weekend services with a live teacher, but the worship will be unplugged in a relaxed café style atmosphere. Speaking of Easter, our schedule that weekend is as follows: Good Friday Service March 29 Time to be determined Saturday Night Service March 30 6 pm Easter Sunday Services March 31 9:30 am Modern Service 9:30 am Classic Service 11:00 am Modern Service 11:00 am Unplugged Service Please start praying about whom you can invite to come with you to one of our Good Friday Service and our FIVE Easter weekend services! It is going to be a weekend to remember! One last thing I want to encourage you to save the date of Sunday, April 28 for CELEBRATION SUNDAY! We are going to all join together for one worship service at 10:00 am at Kendall Hall at TCNJ and celebrate what God has done and the vision that God has placed before us to make even greater impact in the next few years. We will then follow the service with an all-church lunch that everyone will be talking about. So more details to come, but for now save the date and keep watching for more information!
