post convention reflections

Well, the 2 week political conventions are over, and I am glad! I learned alot from both weeks, but I am political discussioned out! It is more interesting in our home now that both of my sons can vote in the election and to watch them grapple with the issues and the constant attacks from both sides. Honestly I like politics, but i am tired of the "he said" "she said" wrangling. Till November, i will watch, pray, and ask God for his direction for our country. Can anyone say are you ready for some football??

Hey All---

WOW!! now that the 2 weeks of the political conventions are over the REAL games begin. What attacks, sometimes they all act like children in the school yard...I'm waiting for someone to yell; "Well my daddy can beat your daddy up!" followed by the over extension of the tongue...;-p

Pastor, I also find politics very interesting and of the utmost importance, (1 Timothy 2:1-3) but you are sooo right; this has been a huge "he said" "she said" match. Oddly enough, it seems they are not stopping to think how little intelligence it takes to attack by casting insults. Well, it is what it is...isn't it?

I too will watch and pray and ask God to pleeeease help direct me! ;o)

As for football...I am sure that every EAGLES fan can say...YES I'M READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!
