Yesterday I was reminded of the power of one and the power of many. Here is what I mean.
The power of a witness of a woman who is burdened for her dying dad, and asked me for prayer.
The power of a witness of a woman who is burdened for her ill sister, and asked me for prayer.
The power of a student who is sharing Christ with his classmate.
The power of a daughter sharing Christ with her mother and inviting her to church to hear the gospel.
The power of one peson taking time to share friendship with another so they can see the love of Christ and have their eyes opened to the truth!
The power of many as each of us understand the power of one!
What a difference in the power of one! By the way, check out our website and look at the evite for Easter, www.cbcnj.org I was blown away!

Pastor,
I agree with you. Reading this was very moving and it put me in mind of the verse in 2 Corinthians 4, “but we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us.” Over the past 8 years, I’ve watched God illustrate to me over and over how He alone is my main power source. Recently, there have been days when I am in so much pain, I know the only reason I am able to get up, out of bed and out the door is because of God’s mighty power and His will for me to be where He needs me to be. This was SUCH an encouragement to me today, and I thank you for it. Speaking of power, the evite (yikes, all this NEW language!!) on our website was certainly powerful and totally unexpected when I checked it out this morning. Wow! The music and the wording was incredible. I know folks often surf around to check out different church websites and I hope THIS will make them stop in their tracks and make an effort to really check out Central. Cheers to the people that put it all together. This church has some amazingly gifted members.
Pam
